Three Kings Festival

5th January (annual)
The traditional Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos, or Parade of the Kings of the Orient, is held every year in the streets of Malaga's town centre. Kings Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar are escorted by musicians and a chorus in a colourful parade in which hundreds of children and parents gather to catch the sweets and little toys that rain down on them from the floats.

Feria de Malaga

is the biggest party of the year in Malaga and lasts for 10 days in the middle of august. It originated as a celebration of Malaga`s incorporation into the real of the Castilians in the fourteen hundreds.
