Spanish Courses

At Lexis we like teaching languages. We are an experienced team, working with a school director with over 25 years in the profession.

Since the beginning we have used our own materials for the first three levels: A,B and C. For the higher levels (D and E) we select the best published material available and combine it with our own.

Our method is dynamic for several reasons:

• It has been developed from a solid, tried and tested base. Current affairs change, tastes and styles change; we keep up to date with these changes.
• Each student has his/her own profile, according to his/her mother tongue, knowledge of other foreign languages, age and cultural level.
• We make every effort to determine the student's needs to achieve the best possible results and ensure his/her well being in class.
  We constantly monitor the results of the activities to check their effectiveness.
• We are always bringing in new ideas: in our theatre area, we can all be actors, actresses, directors and script writers. This is an extra curricular activity at present.
• We use new technologies: a Lexis chat room for every language, where you can communicate with other students from the school.
• We give more to those who want more. In our resource centre, you can find answers to your questions, use our multimedia facilities, see films with subtitles, borrow books and other educational materials.

In short, we enjoy seeing how, after the first tentative steps in our language, conversations develop, conversations which can express so much.
