LEXIS - Our Spanish School in Malaga
Lexis has two schools in Malaga , at each end of the historical town centre. Spanish lessons are given at LEXIS I, Paseo de Reding.
Lexis I, the "mother" school, situated at the end of the Park, a few minutes from the Cathedral, the Alcazaba, Gibralfaro, the Town Hall and the Bull Ring and LEXIS II is a small modern school situated in the heart of the commercial area.
LEXIS I
The building looks out onto General Torrijos Square, a beautiful, open square, with the Fountain of Las Tres Gracias (the Three Graces), one of Malaga's most emblematic places where newlyweds often have their photo taken. The modern City Museum, situated next to the school, houses interesting exhibitions throughout the year.
The school is surrounded by gardens: the Park, the tree lined Paseo de Reding, the Pedro Luis Alonso Gardens and the landscaped walkway leading up to the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro.
Lexis I boasts magnificent premises which are very quiet and full of light ( Photo Gallery ). The view over General Torrijos Square gives the school its special character.
The spacious reception area is a meeting place for students before and after the classes and a base for our programme of cultural activities.
LEXIS II
LEXIS II is a small modern school situated in the heart of the commercial area, near the Corte Ingles, the most important department store in Spain. Across the bridge over the Guadalmedina River, the shops are small and traditional; one of the jewels that Malaga still preserves. The new Contemporary Art Centre and the impressive headquarters of some Holy Week societies or Cofradias can be found near Lexis II.
In short, Lexis is a school with a strong urban character, near all the places that attract and interest visitors to our city.
