Für wen ist dieses Angebot geeignet?

Dieses Programm ist ideal für Menschen die über 55 Jahre alt sind. Aber auch jüngere Schüler (ab 48) sind willkommen, so lange Sie dieselben Interessen haben:

• Die Spanische Sprache auf einfache und praktische Weise lernen
• Menschen kennen lernen
• Die Spanische Kultur entdecken und interessante Unternehmungen durchführen
• Spaß haben an Freizeitaktivitäten an den Nachmittagen und Abenden

2-Wöchiges Basis Programm

1. Unterricht

Von 9.15 bis 12.15 Uhr, drei 50-minütige Einheiten, von Montag bis Freitag.

Inhalte

• Erste Stunde: praktischer Sprachgebrauch, abhängig von der Stufe
• Zweite Stunde: praktischer Sprachgebrauch (Stufe A) oder Konversation (Stunde B und C)
• Dritte Stunde: Vorbereitung der Tagesbesichtigung oder Behandlung der spanischen Kultur.

Die dritte Stunde hängt von den Interessen und dem Profil der Gruppe ab: Am ersten Kurstag füllen die Schüler einen Fragebogen aus, so dass wir die Inhalte den kulturellen Interessen der Schüler anpassen können.

Die Themen sind:

• Alltag in Spanien Spain I, II, III
  Zeitreise durch die wichtigsten Episoden der Spanischen Vergangenheit.
• Regionen Spaniens I, II
  Spanien variiert von Region zu Region.
• Kunst I, II
  Die wichtigsten Denkmäler in Andalusien und Spanien.
• Gesellschaft I, II, III
  Soziale Gebräuche, politische Tendenzen, wichtige Persönlichkeiten und Kommunikationsmedien.
• Essen und Trinken I, II
  Kulinarische Reise durch die Regionen Spaniens. Spanisch Weine. Eine Rezeptesammlung der typischsten Gerichte darf natürlich nicht fehlen. Auf Wunsch Kostprobe.
• “Fiestas”
  Festivals, Feste und Traditionen.
  Ein Überblick über Spanische F iestas, begonnen wird mit Andalusien.
• Musik I
  Überblick über Musik in Spanien.

2. Freizeitaktivitäten

Abhängig von der Wetterlage und den Interessen innerhalb der Guppe können die folgenden Besichtigungen durchgeführt werden von Montag bis Donnerstag:

• Religiöses Malaga I, Cathedral
• Religiöses Malaga II, Virgen de la Victoria Shrine

Unterkunft

Lexis befindet sich nahe verschiedener drei und Vier-Sterne Hotels und privaten Appartements. Bei Hotelbuchungen erfolgt die Bezahlung direkt an das Hotel. LEXIS erledigt für Sie die Reservierung zu bestmöglichem Preis und örtlichen Begebenheiten.

Um einen angenehmen Aufenthalt sicherzustellen bitten wir Sie, im Anmeldeformular die gewünschte Anzahl von Hotel-Sternen und Ihre Preisvorstellung anzugeben.

Die Unterkunft in Apartments hängt immer von der Verfügbarkeit und der Saison ab. Je früher Sie buchen desto besser ist die Unterkunft, die wir für Sie arrangieren können.

Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit, in Familien untergebracht zu werden, mit Übernachtung + Frühstück oder Halbpension. Unsere Sprachschule pflegt Kontakte zu den Familien und wir haben eine Reihe von Familien, die sich speziell für die Unterbringung während des Senior Programms eignen.

Essen gehen ? Bei unserer Sprachschule befinden sich zahlreiche Restaurants und Bars. Darüber hinaus versorgen wir unsere Sprachschülern mit einem Plan, in dem empfehlenswerte Restaurants Malagas eingezeichnet sind.
Es gibt auch viele Geschäfte und auch einen 24h Supermarkt nahe unserer Schule.

And when there is nothing programmed?

The location of Lexis is so privileged that there are many ways to spend your time without the need of public transport. These are some of our suggestions:

Walking

Malaga weather is a blessing most of the year, especially on the dates when the Seniors Programme takes place.

If you leave from Lexis School, you can follow several routes:

Route: THE BEACHES

The best known beach in the city, La Malagueta, is only 5 minutes walking from Lexis. From the beach follows a beautiful six-kilometre long maritime promenade towards El Palo ( a residential area in Malaga). It is a popular place for the "malaguenos" who live on the Eastern side of the city to walk, power-walk and jog.
Along the way there are "chiringuitos" (typical fish restaurants) where you can have dinner and go back to town walking, by number 11 bus or by taxi.

Route: THE GARDENS
Lexis is near the biggest historical garden in the town centre: the Park Walk , Pedro Luis Alonso´s gardens and the walk up to Gibralfaro from the Municipal Museum.
Malaga Park has more than 300 botanic species, many of them tropical, and has more than a century of history.
You can also stroll along the Reding Walk, a kilometre long walk in a residential area with a beautiful greenery.

Route: THE HISTORIC CENTRE
De día es diferente que de noche. De día es zona comercial de pequenas y curiosas tiendas. De noche se pueden contemplar las iglesias iluminadas. Hay varios recorridos interesantes, pero quizás lo mejor se dejarse llevar y tomar algo en las terrazas que encontraremos en muchos rincones.

Entertainment

You will surely enjoy our actors in the "Sala Cánovas" and the Alameda Theatre, as well as a wide musical and theatrical programme at the Cervantes Theatre.

Museums
Besides the museums included in our activities programme there are even more museums that we can recommend and provide you with timetables and price lists. Lexis is next to the largest museum and exhibition hall in the city and one of the largest in the country.
A few metres away you can find the Antonio Ordonez Bullfighting Museum in the bullfighting ring.

• Shopping
  Large department stores and shopping centres can easily be found in Malaga, where you can while away afternoons, as well as High-street shopping, where you can go window shopping or even enter the shops if something catches your eye.
  One of the the main attractions is the traditional shopping in the historic centre with a wide range of products.
  Although a visit to the Atarazanas Market is included as part of the classes programme, we recommend you make your own visit and enjoy the explosion of colours and smells from local fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and meat.
• Fairs
  Malaga counts with a Conference and Exhibition Hall where many different themed fairs are held.

What to do on Sundays?

The Malaga region is so varied that you could just as easily spend a day in cosmopolitan Marbella as in touristic Torremolinos or Fuengirola, or visit the countryside on organised trips. The wonderful inland towns and villages must not be forgotten, if you are thinking of hiring a car.
The School offers up-to-date information about means of transport, car rentals and interesting visits.
If you would like to visit any of the beautiful Andalusian towns not included in the Saturday programme, the School provides information for you to make these trips through travel agents or privately.
